Campaign 2008

My Campaign issues:

• Having a Safe – Clean – Healthy County
• Building Strong Communities
• Keeping the Taxes as Low as possible – continue to Provide and Maintain High Quality Services

I have proven over the years that I will stand up and work with the community members to address the issues that are of a concern to them. In the last four years we have had more challenges than normal. We have experienced tornados, earth quake, extreme snow, frost boils on the county roads, results and unfortunate conditions of applying slag and flooding. I truly believe that as a County we have met each challenge and succeeded. As a Supervisor I have done my best to become knowledgeable on the subjects in order to make informed decisions that assist and benefit the residents of Muscatine County. In order to assist with that I went to Maryland and attended a Disaster / Recovery Training. After the Tornado in Fruitland I spent a full week helping the residents recover.
